Videobolt Launches AI-Driven Template Discovery

Discover how Videobolt’s AI-driven search and structured tagging system make finding the right template easier across a growing library.

As Videobolt’s library expanded to 18,000+ designs, our greatest strength began to stretch the limits of traditional template discovery. Basic keyword search and browsing were never designed for this scale. We knew the system had to evolve, so we redesigned discovery to work the way you think.

Structured tagging powered by computer vision and semantic AI now supports a new intent-based engine that understands what you’re actually looking for – and it does so in any language, from Albanian to Zulu. We also refreshed the design of the template cards and pages to surface key details upfront, so you can evaluate options faster and compare templates with confidence. The result? A system that makes finding the right template fast, intuitive, and reliable. Here’s how this helps you find exactly what you need faster.

Structured discovery with 900+ smart tags

To help you narrow down 18,000+ design choices, we introduced structured tags that define visual style, mood, type of motion, use case and other design elements you could use to describe a video. These 900+ tags were curated using computer vision and semantic AI models trained to recognize composition, color, animation patterns and visual structure across thousands of designs.

Tags are clickable and combinable. You can start broad, then progressively narrow results without starting over. A general idea turns into a precise match in a few clicks. Instead of scrolling through loosely related options, you refine your path step by step. Because tagging is systematic rather than manual, it stays consistent as the library grows. That consistency makes filtering more reliable and results more accurate.

Faster results with AI-powered intent-based search engine

Search now works from a deeper understanding of each template’s design, so you’re no longer limited to exact keyword matches. You can search naturally and still get relevant results. The new engine uses semantic AI to interpret the intent behind every query. If you search for “minimalist intro,” you’ll see templates that match the concept and style you have in mind, even if those exact words don’t appear in templates titles or descriptions. This matches visual characteristics, style and use case rather than relying solely on keyword overlap.

Another big improvement the new Videobolt search engine brings is the ability to work across languages. As a global company with users in 180+ countries, we made sure you can search in Spanish, French, Chinese, or any other language and get relevant results without switching to English. The engine interprets meaning and ranks templates by semantic relevance, so closely related variations appear higher among the search results.

As you search, relevant tags are suggested alongside results, making it easy to refine templates further without rephrasing your query. Together, search and the tags create a discovery flow that responds to how people actually think about projects, rather than how they phrase keywords.

Template types aligned with real workflows

Template types are designed to make navigation faster when you already know what you need. If you’re looking for a logo animation, a slideshow, or a lyric video, you can browse directly within that category without refining keywords or filtering by style. It’s a straightforward path to the exact type of template your workflow requires.

Each template can be assigned to multiple relevant types, so it appears in different browsing contexts depending on how you approach your search. The updated Templates dropdown in the platform header highlights the most popular categories and features Best Selling and Newest collections, helping you quickly explore proven favorites or discover the latest additions.

Clearer template cards and pages for faster decisions

Template cards have been redesigned so you can now see essential information directly in the browse view. Duration, 2K/4K export support, title, author name, available formats (16:9 / 9:16 / 4:5 or 1:1), and pack inclusion are visible at a glance, allowing you to compare different templates without opening every one individually.

What do these changes mean for you?

Together, these updates reshape how discovery works at scale. Structured tagging forms the foundation, intent-based search builds on it, and refined navigation and UI make everything easier to browse and evaluate. Each layer supports the next, creating a system that remains coherent as the library continues to grow. The goal isn’t to add complexity, but to make a large collection feel organized and navigable. Happy creating!
