Video Editing Just Got Even Easier
Hey all you lovely people, there’s been some major changes to the flow of template editing. Everything should be even more user friendly, but let’s take a minute to get you acquainted with the differences.
Live Video Previews
The biggest update comes to how changes are previewed. Previously, you would make edits then render a low resolution video preview to see the difference. Now, whenever you make a change, the video preview is automatically generated and seamlessly replaced in your editor. This removes the need to create a preview before producing the final, high resolution video. To suit the change, “Produce Video” is now replaced with “Produce & Download” which skips the step of making a low resolution preview and goes straight to rendering the video at the highest quality and without a watermark.
This also affects music visualizer previews, where the preview segment is now defined when uploading a song. Previously, you would choose a preview segment when making a preview video (which is now automatic) so that when you choose to produce the video it begins rendering the full length visualizer.
Image Previews
There’s been a slight change to how still image previews are handled, to make it easier to compare detailed changes at high resolution. Image previews are issued by clicking “Preview HQ Image” and will now be rendered without a watermark at the highest possible resolution for a given template. There is also a button to download the preview image if you wish to share it with your co-workers or clients.
Editor Preferences for More Comfort
A completely new addition are user defined editor preferences which now allow a choice of preview video resolution, as well as, adjusting behavior of video and image previews. This is most useful for heavy users who wish to fine-tune the editor for a more comfortable (or faster) editing experience. Previews rendered at the lowest resolution (270p) are great if you want to increase rendering speed and get quicker feedback during your editing process. In order to adjust editor preferences, click the wrench icon found in the bottom end of the sidebar.
That’s all for this update. Hope you like the new changes, feel free to @videoboltnet with any thoughts or comments. Thank you for reading and have a great day!
